Navistar Vlog Showcases Future and Existing Military Vehicles Displayed at AUSA
Third video blog in series features the International® MaxxPro™

What: Navistar Defense invites you to view a three-part, web-based, video blog series showcasing vehicles displayed at the Association of the United States Army Winter Symposium and Exposition:

• Future Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Designed with BAE Systems
• MXT with Raytheon SL-AMRAAM Missile Launcher
• MaxxProTM Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle

Why: Thursday’s JLTV vlog provides viewers a first look at the Navistar/BAE Systems team response to the U.S. Joint Forces challenge to bring forth a new tactical wheeled vehicle platform. The JLTV family of vehicles will provide increased force protection, survivability, and improved capabilities over today’s fleet.

Thursday afternoon’s MXT vlog showcases this versatile, reliable vehicle designed for the ever-changing military environment. The cab can be configured to accommodate as many as six warfighters in full military gear. The body is also versatile enough to accommodate an array of weapons, navigation and communications systems. This MXT includes a Raytheon surface launched advanced medium range air to air missile (SL-AMRAAM) launcher.

Friday morning’s MaxxPro vlog features the company’s Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle. In December 2007, Navistar captured nearly 50 percent of the industry-wide orders announced by the military – 1,500 MRAP vehicles and parts support valued at nearly $1.2 billion – in its single largest order to date of MRAP vehicles. Overall, Navistar’s MRAP orders (vehicles and support) total nearly $3 billion since the first production contract was awarded in May 2007. Navistar’s total order is 4,471 Category I and II MRAP vehicles to be delivered by the end of July 2008.

Who: Future and Existing Military Vehicles from Navistar Defense with commentary from the company’s top executives.
